10th ANNIVERSARY YEAR 2020 OPEN REHEARSALS:
We welcome men of great singing heritage, or none, equally and without Audition!
So whether you are an accomplished singer, warble in social situations, whistle a happy tune, sing in the bath,
or are new to singing with others or in public,
come to one of our free 'no obligation' Open Rehearsals during 2020!
UNFORTUNATELY, OUR OPEN REHEARSALS ARE CURRENTLY ON HOLD AND
CHOIR ACTIVITIES ARE SUSPENDED BECAUSE OF THE CORONAVIRUS COVID19 OUTBREAK.
WE HOPE TO BE SINGING AGAIN WHEN IT IS PRUDENT TO DO SO
AND OUR ACTIVITIES PROGRAMME IS RESTORED / REARRANGED.

JANUARY 2020: Thursdays 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th
MAY 2020: Thursdays 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th
SEPTEMBER 2020: Thursdays 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th
Just meet us for 7.30pm at our rehearsal base:
Mile Cross Methodist Church, 341 Aylsham Road, Norwich NR3 2RU (next to Lloyds Bank near The Boundary pub)
There is plenty of car parking around the Church and the bank next door - see the map at the foot of this page.
(Our rehearsal room is at the rear of the main Church building)
You can enjoy a singing taster experience 'on us' as we start the important work of rehearsing
for the next absolutely best yet Singing Season from Norwich's Choral Singing Men in our 10th Anniversary Year!
It's a fabulous chance if you are unsure about public singing to see if you like it
and to see how a male voice choir works, but we do hope you will want to come back and join us!
We're always happy to 'buddy you up' with one of our more experienced members so you can find your feet with us.
You will be most welcome and you might even discover your fascinating new hobby!
CHOIR MEMBERSHIP:
There are no auditions for choir membership and you don’t need to be able to read music.
We just ask that you are an 18+ year old man interested in choral 4-part harmony singing,
that you can regularly meet with us for our Thursday evening rehearsals in Norwich,
and that you will practice learning our repertoire outside of choir rehearsals.
Music is supplied on loan to our Singing Members and aural practice parts are available for all our pieces.
(We also arrange additional Tuesday evening practices as announced in the Members' Rehearsal Schedule)
Membership involves a regular monthly subscription, a desire to participate in our concerts
(generally on Saturday evenings in/around Norwich and Norfolk, but sometimes further afield!),
a commitment to practice and learn our songs, and bags of enthusiasm on your part!
Members rehearse on most Thursday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.45pm at Mile Cross Methodist Church.

Our Open Rehearsals have Non-Members particularly in mind and are being held on the dates shown above.
Just drop in to our rehearsal base at the rear of the Church for 7.30pm!

But you don't actually need to wait until then if you are THAT keen (or, indeed, that good!)!
