2022 - Singing Again but Staying Close to Home...
We're looking forward to welcoming back our existing supporters and inviting brand new audience members
to our future concerts and sincerely thank everyone who has contributed in any way to our first ten years of singing.
But we lament our two years without song. Our Anniversary Year in 2020 was neither the one we were planning,
nor the one we wanted for you, or for everyone up and down the country, and around the globe.
Then 2021 was spent in a 3rd lockdown with the ominous shadow of Covid-19 never far away,
which made confidently planning future events very difficult. But we are delighted to say we are back...
Our limited concert programme for 2022 below takes into account the ongoing health and wellbeing
of our Members, Professional Musicians, Volunteers and Concert Audience,
which remains of paramount importance to us and is uppermost in mind.
Nevertheless, we are pleased to be singing for you once more and look forward to seeing you at one of our concerts!
PLEASE SUPPORT OUR CHARITY of the YEAR for 2022:
We have announced that our Charity of the Year for 2022 will be the East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH),
particularly The Nook Family Zone at Framlingham Earl.
EACH supports families and cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions
across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk (at The Nook) and Suffolk, and we are delighted to support them this year
by donating our raffle proceeds and holding retiring bucket collections at our three concerts in 2022.
EACH is pleased and proud to have HRH The Duchess of Cambridge as its Royal Patron.
