Now, just because it's Summer (yes, I KNOW you've looked out the window and seen the weather forecasts...), and because July concerts are 'mission accomplished', it does not mean we have ceased all activity, nor that we are in a state of musical torpor until Christmas!  Far from it!!!

Our friends, Dawn and Mark, at the very useful Thorpe, Sprowston and NR8 Directories have really done us proud this time with a spread not just showing that singing with others could be good for you.  It also introduces our September 2019 Open Rehearsals which give a chance for non-member Gentlemen to look behind the scenes of a male voice choir, and carries the poster for our 7th September concert at Witard Road Baptist Church with our chums from Millhouse Green on their visit to Norfolk.  It a great moment for us to thank Dawn and Mark and their Directories for their sterling support of our Choir over a considerable period, which also includes putting up with 'Yours Truly' when he forgets all the deadlines... :(

The letter boxes have already rattled in Thorpe St Andrew and Thorpe End near our Witard Road venue, with the Sprowston, and the Thorpe Marriott, Taverham and Drayton Directories due for delivery at the beginning of September.  But if you want more night-time reading than our suggestions in the article provide, you can also see the August / September edition of Dawn and Mark's Thorpe Directory online by clicking HERE!

For the first time in a few years, we are coming back after the summer break to a concert, so unless you like the challenge of learning by heart our entire programme for it, we suggest to Gentlemen rehearsal visitors that when Members return for rehearsal is not a good time to visit!!!

Our warm welcome to any Gent, Bloke, Chap, Man, 18 years and above, will be fully available and extended on our 3 Open Rehearsal Dates, when, just like our Members, you will see our Winter/Christmas Programme for the first time!  The playing field doesn't get leveller than that!!!

It's Thursday...   ...it's 7.30...   ...and it's...   ... SUMMER...!!!  ???   Summer...???  What?   WHAT???   OH, NOOOOOO!!!

For weeks, Thursdays have been the exclusive province of Choir Rehearsals.  But, with our Summer Concert Season now finished, well, what do our Members do on a 'free' Thursday...?

Best give the public service warning now...  look out of your window and if you see any chaps wearing a black shirt and a green tie, wandering aimlessly and they seem, well, lost or somehow a little vague, they are suffering from the 'CREEPS' - that is, 'Choir-Related Empty Evening Post-Season' Syndrome.  Any Choir Member struck down with the syndrome literally won't know what to do with themselves on a Thursday evening when there is no scheduled choir rehearsal.  Treat the victim with care since they are in a very fragile state with no available cure until rehearsals resume for paid-up Members on Thursday 27th August.

But that's not the worst of it...   ...for weeks, peace and quiet has been the order of the day indoors on a Thursday evening when the menfolk go out for choir practice.   But not for the next four weeks...!   So be afraid...   ...be VERY afraid...
