It's coming home, it's coming home, it's coming ......

The 52 years of hurt predates us slightly (by about 6 1/2 times...!). But not competing for an audience with several world-class sports events is always wise, especially this year, since a certain nationality's football team hasn't come closer since 1990 to putting some silverware (well, goldware in this case) into the nation's trophy cabinet.

We used to say the same (but for a much longer time...) about a British Men's Champion at Wimbledon, then the same one came along twice at once ... [ I think I've written that properly about Andy Murray ...???! ] and Kyle Edmond had a good go today without disgrace at a multiple Grand-Slammer, not forgetting a Davis Cup win for GB a little while ago. That one put to bed then, with some well-placed future optimism!

So with 52 years of hurt to resolve, after a great win today, we wish good luck for Wednesday evening to Gareth Southgate and the whole England Football Team.... ....and you never know, for the following Sunday too...???!!!

Because one thing's for sure ... ... it's coming home!!!

Norwich's Phoenix Male Voice Choir is coming home to its Mile Cross Methodist Church rehearsal base on Saturday 21st July for its Summer Evenings of Song Concert and we hope to see you there (or the following Saturday at St Michael's Church, Beccles), when we all hope there may be more than just an evening of song to celebrate and enjoy!
